Can You Believe That 2012 Is Almost Half Over? Where Has The Year Gone? I don’t know about you, but for me it’s kind of mind-boggling. Before I know it, we will have reached one of my favorite summer days – Summer Solstice – the longest day. Always a great time for celebrating. Hot, Hot Hot! It’s Late Summer! Welcome to another information-packed issue of Boomer Women’s World. It’s suddenly August and the weather continues to be hot and stormy here in the Midwest. Earlier this week, our little corner of the world experienced an intense rain. Water, water everywhere.We had somewhere between twelve and fifteen inches of rain fall in twelve hours.
