Fall Brings Us Football, Foliage and Fabulosity! As I write you from here in the heart of the Midwest, the Fall football season is in full swing and the foliage, which I’d been worried about due to the summer drought, is just starting to fade. But it was absolutely brilliant here while it lasted. Hope your part of the country has also enjoyed some Fall beauty and harvest bounty. Worldwide, Our Hearts Have Been Heavy These Past Few Days. And why wouldn’t they be? September used to be my favorite month, full of sunny skies and the promise of new beginnings as we started off a new school year. But 9/11 changed all of us. And with this being the 10th anniversary of that awful event, everywhere we turned, there was a new message, a new reminder. Certainly this is a day we must remember, and it commemorates a day and a lesson we must not forget.
