The Summer Reading Issue I don’t know about you, but no matter what the weather, I love to spend my free time reading and writing. When I was a kid, my mother would spend a good part of the summer trying to pry me away from my books, urging me to “go outside and play.” And play we did: My friends and I played tennis, softball, and swam.
